The following are projects currently in various stages of pre-development.
Working in partnership with Housing Land Trust of Sonoma County, a local non-profit, and the City of Cloverdale to develop 25 homes for "essential employees." These green-built homes will be available to low to moderate income households, with a preference for City employees, school district employees, healthcare workers, and others currently living or working in Cloverdale.
The project is in the early stages of design, with construction anticipated in the summer of 2009.
Cornell Village CoHousing - A 33-unit ownership community that is being proposed as a "CoHousing" development. This unique form of home ownership was brought to the United States in the 1980's from Denmark and is growing in popularity. Cornell Village Affordable - 11 homes that will be affordable to low & moderate income families.
Both projects are being developed concurrently and are in the early stages of the government entitlement process. Construction is anticipated to start in 2009.
A 15 home CoHousing community being proposed in the City of Lakeport, Lake County. The site is a former walnut orchard and is located within blocks of downtown Lakeport and Clearlake.
